The Nitro Droid youth boot has recently been updated with new styling and a true sizing focus - allowing even the youngest rippers to experience the precision ride that the pros feel with a fit that is unified from boot to board, while the Droid boot continues to provide all-day support, flex, and warmth to enjoy snowboarding to the fullest. The new Kid's Cloud 1 Liner and Interlock System allow for a reliable and warm foothold no matter the conditions keeping them out longer. At the same time, the EVA Outsole and EVA Footbed will keep the weight to a minimum and the dampening properties to a maximum for bigger smiles! The BOA® Fit System delivers micro-adjustable precision fit, engineered to perform in the toughest conditions. The Single Dial Configuration by BOA® Fit System allows micro-adjustments to tighten the boot from top to bottom. Tension redistributes evenly, shifting with the rider’s movement for a all day ride.
DLS (Direct Lacing System)
Directly connected to the liner, the DLS also features Dyneema® loaded low-friction laces on selected models for ultimate fit and comfort.
Interlock System
Developed to help keep the liner heel in one place and eliminate any kind of heel slippage or lifting. This ladder unit helps connect the liner heel to the shell to help generate the world's best foothold. Say goodbye to heel slipping and hello to all-day comfort and foothold.
Re/Lace Liner Locker
Another innovation from our friendly R&D department at Nitro: The RE/LACE Liner Locker provides easy adjustability of your inner boot lacing when your boot shell is already tightened (tied), by just pulling up on the lace handle. This allows you to (re)tighten your liner and foothold throughout the day (wherever you may find yourself on the mountain) without having to untie your boot.
