WOMEN'S RIDER OF THE YEAR - IRIS PHAM
Not many have made the jump from rookie to pro in one season, but Iris is an exception. After taking home Torment’s 2024 Rookie of the Year, she followed it up with a season of podiums, podcasts, contracts, hand-marked clips from “Bittersweet”, and even a page-one spot in Slush. Heavily deserved, and crazy to think she’s just getting started. Congrats Iris on 2025 Women’s Rider of the Year!
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR- MATEO MASSITTI
Mateo was a relatively unknown name two years ago. A few intro clips in “Knights of the Brown table” put him on our radar, and last year’s “Swamp Donkey” solidified that he is no longer in the shadows. Smooth style, technical difficulty, and major league board control set him apart, making him your 2025 Rookie of the Year. Congrats Mateo!
